Ollantaytambo is a village in Peru’s Sacred Valley. It is most known for being the spot where you catch the train to Aguas Calientes on your way to Machu Picchu.  However, the Ollantaytambo ruins, a massive fortress with large stone terraces on a hillside, represent some of the most amazing ancient stonework found anywhere. The Temple of the Sun and the Princess Baths fountain are two of the best-known features.
