I spent a couple of days in Lima during my recent visit to Peru. Lima is a unique place with a lot of history. There are pre-Inca ruins near the beach; museums with pre-Inca pottery; warm and friendly¬†people; amazing architecture; and a lot of good food! Escaping the brutal summer heat and humidity of the mid-Atlantic, Lima’s weather was quite refreshing; lows in the 50s and highs in the low 60s. I recommend putting Lima on your list of places to see.
